whoops, I didn't double-check a bug's bugzilla entry before working on it, and then when I went to assign it to myself after I'd made a patch for it ...I realized someone else already had it assigned. *facepalm*

well. I guess I'll hold on to this patch in case that person ever unassigns it...? LE SIGN

Depending on how long that person has had the bug assigned, they probably aren't working on it at the moment and might be grateful someone else took care of it?

Just in case that person is me, feel free to tell me - the only two bugs i am actively working on are big ones, so I doubt you made a quick patch for them :)

I think they probably assigned it recently, because I don't think it was assigned when I added it to my list of interesting bugs a couple of weeks ago? I don't know, I don't want to step on any toes. :x

Well, the history says it was assigned in April, so this may be an abandoned bug. I think it can't hurt to comment with a "sorry, I didn't see this was assigned and coded something for it, can I upload the patch?"

Oh yeah, user notes, the bane of my existence. I'll finish it sometime this... decade :)
